Maybe if I post about it, it will happen.

I want to lose about 10 lbs (I think it's 10, I'll need to actually WEIGH myself to find out). I've been wanting to lose this same 10 lbs for about a year now. I have no more excuses. I need to just do it. It's not as simple as it used to be when I was in my 20s. It got harder at about age 32. The thing is I need to exercise. I have no time to do this at home. I should start doing something at work, only I haven't. I also need to change my eating habits. As in, no excess fat (donut holes, Mr. Gatti's, Raising Cane's, etc). I'm going to work on this.

Maybe I'll try to post my weight every now and then as incentive. I'll start today. Let me go pee first.

Goodluck! I need to lose some myself. I did really good this summer and got down to where I wanted but I've put a lot back on. Jeans are getting tight. Maybe if I see you losing it will be an incentive.

I want to lose about 15lbs. And tell me about it being harder in your 30's! I will be 34 in April (ugh!) I wish the weight came off as fast as it seems to go on!

If you post, they will come, or in your case, hopefully go away. 10 pounds? That's it? I am, oh, so jealous. Gotta get back to my jar of peanut butter now.

Man, 10 pounds is the magic number. I started the day after Christmas. I haven't done anything physical about it either but I've been very careful about what I eat. I stay in between 1000 and 1200 calories a day and I'm down 4 pounds. My jeans are feelin' good!

You can do it. I'll post my weight if you post yours, lol!

I need to lose 20..... at least!! I actually don't even know how much I weigh, we don't have a scale, sometimes I am thankful!!
I haven't lost the pregnancy weight from my 2nd baby, she is 7 now. My youngest will be 4 in May.... I don't know what my excuse is... maybe motivation!!
well you go girl I will be cheering you on and hopefully able to catch some motivation myself!!

Well lady, I don't know. I've started my second week on this so called challenge with a couple other girls. It involves money, so its worth losing it so one can win the big money in March. The first week I didn't lose or gain anything but I joined late so I didn't really have a chance. I decided I'm too damn busy to count calories or measure things that I have chosen Slimfast. I'll do a drink for breakfast and lunch and then one on the snacks that they offer (slimfast) for a 10:00 snack and a 2:00 snack. I've been coming home for lunch and walking on my treadmill for the lunch hour. I usually watch the TLC channel and listen to my Ipod while I do this. So far since I've started on last Saturday I've lost 8 pounds. Now this would be good but I really would like to loose 40 pounds. I know this is a little too high of a goal but we'll see. Today has been hard cause I've been home all day. But tomorrow is weight in so I'll let you know where I stand. I'd sure like to get back into my 12-14 jeans. AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH

Thanks, everyone for the encouragement! I haven't been too bad so far this weekend. Not extraordinarily good either though. Hmm . . I need to come up with a plan. Maybe I could try something like Slimfast. That's an idea.

Or besides the donut holes, cut out the French fries and all fried foods. That will help. Eat fruit and vegetables! I lost 47 pounds at LA Weight Loss. I am going back this week as I have been off plan for a while. I plan to get back into the groove and loose more. Good luck girlfriend, and when are we going to eat a healthy lunch!?

Do you know how many calories those WEndy's salads have??? Like a gabillion! That's why they taste so damn good.

I've got the same problem over here. I don't know why its so hard to lose just a few pounds.

I think part of the problem is where you live. When I lived there I ate way too much good food, and drank way too much good alcohol. Everyone was so laid back they thought you were weird if you worked out, unless you hung out at Red's (a workout club) then you were cool.
