Welcoming my Mom to the digital age

My mom bought her first ever digital camera last weekend. She was frightened by it. So 'hi-tech' and all. I told her I'd give her a lesson in using it which took all of about 15 minutes. I think she's still not over the fact that there is no film involved whatsoever. I guess when you've been needing film to take pictures for 60 years, it's hard to get that you no longer need it. At all. Ever.
But, she's already a pro. Look at these pictures she sent me this morning from New Year's Eve hanging around with the kids.

She even managed to travel to the Planet of the Apes for that last shot.

Yea mom! My mom got her first cell phone for Christmas. It was her joke me trying to explain to her how to use it when Iam in GA and her in MD, lol Maybe I'll write about it.

ROFL at the last picture, my daughter makes faces like that.

Hugs Suz

Now it comes out the real you. You never told me you had a disorder of your facial nerves. Looks like is hereditary. ha ha cute pics isn't it fun to act silly with your kids. Enjoy it now because in a few more years they won't let you be silly near them for fear of embarassment.

Alright, good going! The farthest I have come to bringing my in law into the wonderful world of technoligy is a DVD player, and that is recent! They try to tell me that they can't see the difference between it and the VCR, but I think they don't want to admit it is all.

Yay, yay Mom! Good for her for stepping into the world of "hi-tech." So many people just refuse to learn or are so afraid of it that they just won't consider it.

Great picture and she even SENT them, wow! Way to go MOM!

It can be painfully hard trying to teach high tech to the young at heart. Way to go! Next step a blog?...
