Zoo Day

It was another Louisiana winter day here Saturday. Close to 80 degrees and breezy, so we decided to meet up with some friends and go to the Baton Rouge Zoo. Here's some pics from the playground there, where John M. had a great time. This was the first time he actually LOOKED at the animals and seemed interested. We had a good time and it was nice to spend some time with Joy, Frances, and Owen before they move back to New Orleans.
We're headed to a cookie swap in a minute to um . . swap cookies, I guess. Can you stand the excitement? I bet not.
Peace out.

Ooo, two things I love - the zoo and cookies! There's a wonderful zoo in Toronto, but it's about a four hour drive. We try to go once a year or so, and the boys always love it.

Great pix!

Spikey posts here... that's why you found my blog. Was wondering. :)

Well first, I have to say something about the "Peace Out" cause last time I said that on my blog, everyone laughed at me. I think it's cute. So there.

Adorable kids. Am VERY jealous of the weather. I think it was in the single digits when I woke up this morning. UGH. Way to cold to get out of bed.

Hope you scored some good cookies. Then again, are there bad ones?!

Fun pictures!

First of all, what did I tell you about bragging about the temperature down there!?! :)

We haven't taken our son to the zoo yet...hoping to do that next summer.
There's a really great zoo not far from us (Toledo, Ohio) and they put on an AWESOME Zoo theme Christmas lights display every year....we had plans to take him next Wednesday night, but it's kinda up in the air now...we'll see.
