'Ice Princesses'

Anna and Emma 'graduated' from their ice skating class last week. They absolutely loved it and we may do the next one in the spring. I think it's great that they're learning how to ice skate because that's something I never even tried as a child. Growing up in Southern Louisiana, you don't see much ice unless it's floating in your lemonade.

My Emma would love to take figure skating. She stepped on ice for the first time back in February at the age of 5 (almost 6) which is really odd for a Canadian family.... :-)

Ice in my "sweet tea" is the only way I see ice! Gotta love Southern Louisiana.

The very first time I saw real snow was when we went to Omaha for Anthony's transplant.

Louisiana has never had snow that I've seen. When you can gather up all the "snow" in your front yard and knock someone out with the snowball you make from it...well, that just NOT snow!

Glad they had fun!
