Very cheesy

John M. started saying 'Cheese!' for the camera a couple of months ago when his little friend at the babysitter's brought her toy camera and started taking pretend pictures of everyone. He learned 'Cheese' that day, and has used it in the correct context ever since. The 'cheese' opportunity hadn't come up in a little while until this week when John and Jenna were sitting on the stoop at my mom's house and she figured it was a perfect Kodak moment.

She got her camera and pointed it at them and John started 'cheesing' it up. He must have said 'tees' (that's cheese to him) about 30 times in a row when she was taking the pictures. 'Tees! tees! tees! tees!'. I couldn't stop laughing. Look at him with his little cheesy smile and pointy chin. And apple-shaped head. Lord knows the boy doesn't look like me, but those 2 qualities are mine! He does have a genetic link to me, even if all I have are a pointy chin and apple cheeks to show for it.

Cheese!

Very cute. Those are some beautiful children!

My littlest one does the "cheese" thing, too. Everyone seems to thing it's adorable. I guess maybe it is!

adorable! Emma says Cheese now too but she always closes her eyes and brings her face forward...it's adorable but doesn't make for a very good picture! :-)

Oh ya, did I've been meaning to mention that my husband is a computer programmer too. He has his own business teaching high tech companies' employees. He's always flying out of town from coast to coast. Now what he teaches is greek to me but I'm sure you'll have an idea.

What a sweet picture. That is so great that he says it so many times....cause then you can get a good picture. I wish Luke would say it more times. He says it once and then looks away just as I take the picture. I alway end up getting the side of his face. Oh well.

That is a great picture! Saying cheese makes you smile for the camera. My EX always said "say diamonds" She always got crappy pictures of people with "O" shaped mouths.

She was incredibly clueless.
I am sooooooooooo glad I'm divorced.....

That is adorable. I love it when they first start talking. Drew is just starting to say I love you. It comes out like, "eeeye uf ooo"

John M reminds me a little of Drew in this picture.

I don't really know who this little girl belongs to, but she SHOULD be Beki's. She sort of looks like her a little and with all that curly hair too. I love John M's 'Tees' smile! A real cutie-pa-tootie!
