Easter Egg Hunt 2006

Just a few pictures from our little family Easter egg hunt this year. I finally uploaded them. The girls had a great time hiding the eggs for John M. I think they even preferred doing the hiding, rather than hunting the eggs themselves. Notice in the pictures how Anna has evolved into a young lady and no longer a 'little girl'. How depressing is that? She even told me a few weeks back that she didn't want me writing about her on my blog. Hormones running rampant, I tell you. I know, I know, it only gets worse. But, she's 10, shouldn't I get to wait a little longer to deal with 'teenage' issues? The Easter bunny brought her a cell phone. I know, I'm asking for it.

Anyway, I'm getting off on a tangent here, but enjoy the pictures. Everything is so pretty and green down here, but it's been H-O-T. I'm not complaining though, I was so tired of cold weather! The girls went back to school today, after being off for over a week, so it's back to homework and studying for about 4 more weeks until they're out for the summer! The school year has flown by and I can't believe they're going to be 5th and 3rd graders next year. I hope the summer is nice and relaxing. Peace out.

I'm FIRST!!!

Anna sure is a very beautiful young lady! (takes after her mother) Ten does seem a little early for teenage issues but then again kids seem to be hitting stages earlier these days.

Cold? I would be interested to know what your definition of "cold" is!! :)

FANTASTIC FUN pictures as always Renee!!

Anna is beautiful! That hair! Kind of makes me scared of my oldest daughter turning 10...even though that's a little more than 6 years away...LOL. Your kids are too cute. John M. looks so proud of his little bucket of eggs...it's precious.

I looked at DarlingDaughter one day and boom she was a woman.....
it always creeps up on you just like that.
The good news is there's always that little girl inside and it also pops out at unexpected moments...both good and bad....

My first visit to your blog! You have a beautiful family...and as the other comments reflect, Anna does look older than 10. I have an 11 year old granddaughter who doesn't look as grown up as Anna....thank God!

Glad you had a fun Easter hunting for eggs with the little ones!

A tween in the house! And a beautiful one at that. Mom, you're going to have your hands full.

Your blog... What about her blog? Is she on MySpace yet? Facebook?

My kids are not allowed to age past six.
