Whassup

So, it's almost March, eh? I hope, with March, comes warm weather. Lasting warm weather, not just the little teases we've been getting.

Anna's softball season is in full swing now and I don't like to watch ball games with hard nipples. I'd much rather sweat.

In other news, my house is in disarray. We had to basically rebuild the front wall of our house because of moisture damage. Which led to having to spray for termites. And the destruction of all of our landscaping (which was pretty ugly anyway). And having to re-drywall part of John's room. Which leads to repainting. Oh yeah, and the floors are just half done in various rooms. It's lovely, let's just leave it at that.

In order to make myself feel better, I'm starting to plan a summer vacation. Any ideas?

Sorry about the damage, that really stinks!

If I could go anywhere I'd pick Hawaii!

What caused all the damage? DId I miss hearing about some hurricane? Whatever the reason, I'm so sorry for the damages done and the expense and inconvenience of redoing it.

As vacations go, my sister is in Hawaii right now. But you could come to Michigan and rent a cottage on the big Lake (Lake Michigan)and all your blogging friend from Michigan could come and visit you and bring food for a big party! Or you can stay here with me and drive a little over 20 miles a day to get to the big Lake!

Let me know when I should expect you. And it's okay to bring your Mom, I'ld love to meet her!

Hugs

Aack! Like you weren't busy enough before!

Vacation planning sounds like an EXCELLENT idea! How about a D.C, Gettysburg, Monticello trip? Kind of hot and wet in the summer, but you're used to that! ;>)

I'm with the others that a cruise sounds like a great idea! You know you can sail out of Mobile now; that's down your way, right? Also, we love Savannah and Tybee Island, Georgia.

The hard nipples cracked me up.

Yay for softball! We just started our season!!

New Jersey is a nice place to visit. :^) I love Cape May.

I've visited and enjoyed Niagara Falls (on the Canadian side) and Williamsburg, VA. Washington, DC, has plenty to see, too.

Cape Cod is great. Maine is awesome.

Boston is fantastic.

There are so many places to see!
