Ok,living in South Africa I just thought my geography was lacking or that you were being humourous....BTW, I read your blog regularly but blogger often refuses to let me comment. But I do read every entry! And yes, my house is pretty big and all open plan - we built it last year and we love it! Bit of a chore to keep it clean though, argh!
Did you move? Do they have crawfish in Afghanistan?
