T.h.r.e.e

My baby is three years old today. I know you're thinking 'he's not a baby anymore'. The thing is, to me, he still is. Maybe I want to hold on to his 'baby years' so badly that I just can't see him any other way. He's my last, you know, so give me a break.

So, Happy Birthday to John M. My boy, my only boy. Thank you, John, for showing me what it's like to mother a boy. Thanks for showing me all the differences, big and small. Thanks for loving to pee outside. Thanks for liking things with wheels; trains, trucks, tricycles, if it goes, you like it. Thanks for sweet little sloppy boy kisses that you wipe off as soon as you give them out. Thanks for being jealous when Daddy tries to hug me or lay next to me. Thank you for reminding me of 'June' all the time and knowing that a little piece of him exists in you.

I love you, my boy.

Happy Birthday, John M.!!!
How much do I love you? More than you will ever know. You are a constant reminder of June's presence in our lives - full of mischief, fun, wit, and grown-up sensitivity.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOHN!!!!!

I completely agree with you still calling him a baby. My three year old is still a baby boy in my eyes too! :)

Happy B Day to MY boy. I never thought I would have a son, but you've definitely been a joy. Who could have imagined someone wanting to fix things with me? I wanted to wake you this morning, laying next to "moma", but couldn't bring myself to it. Your a fine boy; mom isn't so bad either

Wow, he's already 3. I thought he was at least 2 years older than mine. Yea! One more year closer to Kindergarten. Hope you have been doing well.

Happy Birthday, Johnny Boy!

I always consider toddlers babies. I think once they hit 5 and school age, they're not babies anymore.

Happy Birthday John M! You will call him your baby even when he is an adult =) That is what mom's of the youngest do!

Yep, I agree with Toes in the Sand, you will probably always call him your baby. My son is almost 6 and we still call him baby. FUNNY! Happy birthday to your little guy.

He looks just like his momma! I'm so glad I have two boys thrown in our midst. There's just something about them that I can't explain. Right now they are both Mamma's boys and I know that will change some down the road but I hope they always love me the way they do now.
