I'm not kidding when I say my middle-8-year-old child has not shut up for more than 15 seconds at a time the entire day.
We went to Baton Rouge for some shopping and she talked the entire way there, the whole time shopping, the whole way eating, the whole way back and she continues to talk as I type this.
I've asked her repeatedly to be quiet but I think it's impossible. Anyone have this same problem? Anyone have a nice muzzle? Send it on over please.

Little Miss A J Motormouth today, huh? Amber use to talk my ear off and I would ask her if she was tired of talking yet 'cause my ears were tired of listening.....she always said no and continued talking......good luck!! LOL
perhaps you're geting the suffering payback for the cruel, wise-butt comment you made on my blog, that's what I think!
:-)
PS:
What is she talking about?
What can an 8 year old possibly have to talk about that much????
What did you do when Anna went thru this phase?
I'm afraid this is my future. It's pretty bad right now at 5, I can't even imagine how it will be at 8.
Yes, yes, oh gawd yes. Thankyou for letting me know it's not just mine that's does the non stop jabber jaw(only at home too - at school she's quiet and orderly. huh?). My ears hurt.
P.S. I do try to listen no matter what though because the tween and teen years are so close and that's when I really want and need for her to talk to me.
that's funny. I never understand when anyone can talk that amount of time.
have you tried duck tape?
Bribe her with the withdrawal of chocolate from her daily diet.
She's a girl, that's all it is.
My girl is the same way, but only if she knows you very well. Otherwise there is not a peep!
I miss you over at my blog =(
My 4-year-old loves to blab on and on during bedtime story time! It drives me nuts. I will stop reading and then just give her THE LOOK and she usually shuts up. ;)
I'm a big talker so I'm afraid she gets it honest.
