The party's over

So I'm slightly nuts and I told the girls that they could each invite 5 friends over to watch the long-awaited premiere of High School Musical 2. My God, did we think that show would ever actually premiere?! They've just been advertising it on Disney since the beginning of time.

We had 11 girls here, highly engrossed in the movie for about 45 minutes, and then screaming like banshees for the next 2 hours. Who sat on the couch and watched the last hour of HSM2?
That would be me. I had to see if Troy and Gabriella got back together, people. They did. How'd you guess?

So, with only 4 girls remaining in the house, 1 wee boy and 1 medium-sized girl asleep in my bed, I sit here and blog because I'm hopped up on caffeine and 4 slices of pizza.

I can't wait until tomorrow night when I can catch that first hour that I missed. I'm a High School Musical junkie.

My husband saw an article about the second movie and asked, "So what is this all about?"

"If we had a tween," I thought, "you'd be an expert on HSM by now!"

Well, no "tweens" at my house... but Lil' Tad & I watched the whole thing last night! =) He thinks Zac and Corbin are "COOL!" He, however, closed his eyes when any kissing was going on... that is NOT "cool" he said!! HA! =)

hope things are going good with you and your crew this summer! we've been super busy but doing great!! =)

Funny my girl is so not interested in HSM 1 or 2. Maybe I need to watch it?

How FUN!!!!
I love them both so much, and I think 2 was wonderful!! The dancing is incredible!
I also didn't watch it all on Friday night. I went to a friend's to scrapbook and the kiddoes (5 of them) were just TOO loud!! So, we watched it again last night and I saw it all. Loved it! (I may just watch the sing-along tonight too! LOL)

My niece had her two girls and several other great nieces and nephews of mine over to her house of one of her daughters birthdays to watch this movie together too. She's now crazy too! I must get it and watch it ....maybe with just me and Amber....much quieter that way!

This sounds so fun! We've completely missed the HSM phenomenon, but must check it out! (The soundtrack alone would be a nice break from The Muppet Show CD that we listen to over and over and...!)

Only 'slightly' nuts??? You have to be COMPLETELY nuts to invite THAT many tween girls to your house! Ha ha ha!!

...and no offense... but I thought the first one was HORRIBLE!! I couldn't believe it when they said they were making a SECOND one!
Thank GAWD I don't have girls! ;)

I sent the girls over by Grandma's house!

I am so mean, but only our front room TV has cable and there was no way Jason was going to miss the Cubs play to watch HSM2!

Me? I thought the first one was cute, but never really had the urge to watch the second one.

LOL! I had 11 girls at my house that night too! And same as you, they ended up running around and I was the one watching the movie. Watched it the next night too. I'm addicted!
