Emma had an egg hunt at school . .

Mark went to help hide the eggs .

Emma returned with this tidbit of info, "Mama, Daddy and Mrs. Mary (the other mom-hider) aren't very good egg hiders. "
Me: "Why do you say that?"

Emma: "They just put them out in the dirt, I mean, we could see them just laying there."

When I thought about this: 12 eggs x 52 kids = 624, on a tiny, wee bit of playground, I understood why. But they had a great time picking the not-well-hidden-eggs up anyway.

Happy Easter Egg Hunting!

Looks like she had a great time any way! Love all the Easter festivities. Caitlin had quite a bit of loot to bring home yesterday and Mommy's already gotten into it. :)

How funny! The egg hunt was the SAME way at out school!

I guess I'm a terrible egg hider too, lol!

Happy Easter! Yes, I can see why it would have been difficult to put real effort into hiding all those eggs.

Looks like fun and the smiles prove it!

tell Mark, next time, leave all the eggs in the trunk of the car, then make the kids look in the yard.
They'll be hidden so well, nobody'll find any!

My kids had the opposite problem lol The grass in the backyard at my in-laws was so tall they couldn't find the eggs

She is a doll - that second to the last pic is just precious!!

I couldn't believe how many adults put eggs way up in the trees. I mean, what's a toddler to do?? Heck, I'm only 5'1!!

Happy belated Easter!!

Sounds like the Easter egg hunt my kids went on -- very little detective work required!

The photos are adorable.

cute pictures!
The Egg Hunt we took my son to was the same....just scattered all over the grass...for him it was good cause he's not even two but for the older kids, not as much fun, I wouldn't think.

Isn't it funny how it takes us FOREVER to hide all those eggs, but the kids only take like 2 minutes to find them all? :)

Love the pics! Looks like great weather for an Easter egg hunt. I used to have to keep notes on where I hid all the eggs in the backyard, because if they didn't find them all, weeks/months later a yucky surprise would eventually be found. LOL

The 'not very good egg hiders' thing is hilarious!

It looks like they had a great time though.
